The Volvo Truck Corporation is a multinational truck manufacturing company which is owned by the Volvo Group – AB Volvo. This truck manufacturing company whose headquarters are located in Sweden is in fact the second largest manufacturer when it comes to building heavy duty trucks in the world. The majority of the Volvo trucks which are built are listed in the heavy weight class weighing in at more than 16 tones. Most of the production plants of the company are located in Belgium, Sweden, USA and Brazil with around eight assembly plants as well as nine factories owned by others.
