Cadillac is GM's luxury brand, which apart from making some of the finest car and SUV models, also makes great light duty trucks. After the popularity of the pickup truck segment, Cadillac first ventured into this market by bringing out its first light duty pickup. According to recent reports, Cadillac will also bring out its first HD DRW Platinum pickup.
While most truck manufacturers sought to brand their trucks in the market based on their specs, Cadillac was one of the first to highlight the luxury features of their truck models, a feature which was the most sought after among buyers, after performance. Branding Cadillac trucks as luxury trucks also helped to differentiate their trucks in the heavily crowded and competitive truck market.
